PATENTED APPLICATION
On 12/22/2024, we filed a US Provisional Patent Application (No.: 63/737,792) titled “Web-based Predictive Health Tool for Early Detection of Parkinson's Diseases.” This patent protects the technology's novel aspects, such as the specific algorithms used for biomarker analysis.
PROTOTYPE DEVELOPMENT
We have developed a prototype for our innovation: a web-based application built with Python and Flask that utilizes our best-performing machine learning models in the back end.
USER TESTING
We contacted elderly community members to test our application. We received feedback that the app was user-friendly and seemed reliable, which was instrumental in validating the success of our innovation.
